Donald J. Losinski, 85, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Aug.
30, 2016, while under the care of his family and Heartland Hospice Care.


A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2,
at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.


Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church
from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.


Memorials in his name may be made to Heartland Hospice or
the Humane Society of Portage County.


Pisarski Funeral Homes & Crematory in Stevens Point and
Plover assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.


Mr. Losinski was born March 17, 1931, in Stevens Point, one
of 10 children of the late Peter and Gertrude (Kulas) Losinski.


He entered the U.S. Army May 3, 1948, in Stevens Point, and received
an honorable discharge June 14, 1954, at Fort Hood, Texas, with the rank of sergeant.
He earned the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, United Nations
Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.


He worked as an independent mason in both residential and
commercial construction.


Survivors include two daughters, Rochelle (Ken) Bumbalek,
Milwaukee, and Karen (John) Schultz, Stevens Point; one son, T.J. (Wendy)
Losinski, Stevens Point; three sisters, Joan Kaszubski, Therese (Al)
Prondzinski and Katsy Helmuth; and four grandchildren.


He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and
Carl; and four sisters, Lucille Yach, Leona Schulfer, Grace Somers and Rosalie
Kuklinski.
