Jacquelyn Joanne Groeschel, 89, Wisconsin Rapids, mother of
a Plover man, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Arborview Court in Wisconsin
Rapids.


Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6,
at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Jim Altman officiating.Entombment
will be at a later date at the Good Shepherd Mausoleum (Calvary Cemetery) in
Wisconsin Rapids.


Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday.


Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.ritchayfuneralhome.com.


Mrs. Groeschel was born June 15, 1927, in Wisconsin Rapids,
a daughter of the late Gilbert and Fidelia (Stadler) Hein. She graduated from
Lincoln High School in 1945 and attended Mid-State Technical College for one
year.


She was married to Roy Groeschel June 1, 1946, at Ss. Peter
and Paul Church in Wisconsin Rapids.


She was a member of the S.S. Peter and Paul choir as the director
for many years, was a member of the American Legion Post 9 Auxiliary and was a
Meals on Wheels volunteer.


Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Roy; six children,
Mary (Bryan) McKinney, Frisco, Texas, Patrick Groeschel, Plover, Yvonne (Dan)
Simmet and Mark Groeschel, both of Wisconsin Rapids, Martha Fullmer, Appleton,
and Greg (Rosalba) Groeschel, Chicago, Ill.; one brother Malcolm Hein; nine grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.


She was also preceded in death by one son, Grant; one
brother, Gilbert Hein; and one sister, Anna Lou Hein.
