Elks Lodge to Host Evening of Blues

City Times Staff
The local Elks lodge is hosting a night of blues — and the public is welcome to attend.
The first annual “641 Kick Off Blast” will be held at the Elks Lodge #641, 1132 Clark St., on Sept. 10. Doors open at 4 PM.
The event features Central Wisconsin Delta Duo, a group famous locally for their acoustic delta blues. The duo is comprised of Cadillac Pete on harmonica and Howard “Guitar” Luedtke. Their show will be held from 7 PM to 10 PM.
“Every year we run a raffle, and this is the kickoff event to run that raffle,” said Bob Willis, a spokesman for Elks.
Willis said the money raised during the blues night will help the Elks support several local charitable organizations, to include the Family Crisis Center, Salvation Army and local veteran and children’s causes.
The Elks also helps run the annual Cops and Bobbers fishing event, and hands out dictionaries to school kids each year.
Food, beverages and raffles will be available onsite. For more information, the Elks Lodge #641 can be reached at (715) 344-4021.
