Second St. Closing for Three Weeks

Second St. will close at the Sixth Ave. intersection beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 6 for approximately three weeks.
Crews will begin replacing underground utilities associated with the Sixth Ave. rebuild. The underground work will be “extensive”, according to a news release from the city’s engineering department.
A detour sign will be posted.
The roadway should reopen, weather permitting, by Sept. 27. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area.
