Daniel R. Hellenbrand, 64, Stevens Point, died unexpectedly
Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016.

A life celebration memorial service will be held at 4 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 26, at the Shuda Funeral Home in Plover.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Monday
until the service.

The family asks that a donation be made to a local animal
shelter.

Mr. Hellenbrand was bornMay 3, 1952, in Madison, a son of
the late Louis and Agnes Hellenbrand. He grew up in Cross Plains and graduated
from Middleton High School in 1970.

He was married to Kathy A.Tolzmann.

He had a 33-year career in the automotive repair industry.

He received the gift of a new kidney from his cousin, Jon, and
volunteered for the Boy Scouts and at the Humane Society of Portage County as a
dog walker and doing other chores.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy A. Hellenbrand; two
children, Nicole and Ben, both of Stevens Point; and his siblings, Susan,
Columbia, Md., Ann (Dave) Whalen, Glendora, Calif., Judy Taylor, Ontario, Calif.,
Gerard, Madison, Ron (Lisa), Middleton, and Char (Steve) Coyle, Black Earth.
