Felix Frank Burant, 83, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Sept.
6, 2016, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital. He had been a resident at the Care
Partners Assisted Living Center.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday,
Sept. 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz
officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.


Visitation will be at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens
Point from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, and at the church from 9 a.m. until
the Mass.


A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Burant was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late William and Gladys (Bronk) Burant. He attended St. Stanislaus
Parochial Grade School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High school in 1952.


He attended Central State Teachers College (now the
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point).


He ran his own milk can trucking route in his younger days.
He also helped his father doing trucking and landscaping, and owned his own
snowplowing business. He retired from Del Monte Corp in the mid-1990s.


Survivors include two sisters, Vera
Rzentkowski, Plover, and Theresa Plaski, Stevens Point; and many nephews and
nieces.


He was also preceded in death by one brother, Ambrose; and
one sister, Lucille.
