Almond hosts Pardeeville, rest of area teams on road for Week 4
Fourth-ranked Almond-Bancroft will be the lone area high school
football team at home for Week 4 of the season, when it hosts Pardeeville in a
nonconference game at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.
Eighth-ranked Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) (3-0,
2-0) will hit the road to play at Oshkosh North (2-1, 2-0) at 5 p.m. Friday,
while the 7 p.m. games include Amherst (3-0, 1-0) at Weyauwega-Fremont (1-2,
0-1), Rosholt (0-3, 0-1) at Tigerton/Marion (1-2, 0-1) and Pacelli (1-2, 0-1)
at Wittenberg-Birnamwood (1-2, 0-1).
Almond remained the fourth-ranked team in Division 7 following a
40-0 win over Tigerton/Marion in its conference opener last week, and will be
at home for the third week in a row to face Pardeeville.
