Bird watching a simple pleasure in life
Watching birds is one of the simple pleasures of life.
The winged creatures flit about all day, stop frequently at our feeder and peck away. Actually, the feeders are my wife, Martha’s – she fills and maintains them regularly.
When I look at the birds, I sometimes think of the Bible verse from Matthew: “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.”
