Local companies partner to ensure CNC machine ready for SPASH

Several months ago, the Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) was successful in receiving a grant to fund the acquisition of a factory new computer numeric control (CNC) machine to be used in the instruction of students interested in metal machining and metal manufacturing.
SPASH was in need of a new access door to allow for the installation of the CNC machine and area businesses Marten Machining, Ellis Construction, the Worth Company and Pointe Precision have partnered to ensure the machine was ready for the upcoming school year.
