Kurt Jerard Zelhofer, 52, Stevens Point, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, due to health reasons.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Burial will be in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Stevens Point at a later date.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Wednesday until the services.

A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Zelhofer was born May 19, 1964, in Stevens Point, a son of
Geraldine (Kita) Zelhofer and the late John Zelhofer. He attended St. Joseph
Parochial Grade School and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1982.

He entered the U.S. Army following graduation. He worked his
way up to staff sergeant and retired after 20 years of military service.

He drove for and delivered Portesi Pizza Italian Foods for more
than 25 years.

Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Zelhofer, Stevens
Point; three brothers; Keith (Tammie) Zelhofer, Green Bay, and Kent Zelhofer
and Kevin (Ruth) Zelhofer, both of Stevens Point; two sisters, Kathy Lepak and
Karla (Kurt) Strojny, both of Stevens Point; and 12 nieces and nephews.
