Georgiann Bushman, 91, Plover, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, at Atrium Care Center in Stevens Point.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Revs. Vicki Natzke and Jane Johnson presiding. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am. Thursday until the service.

Memorials may be designated to St. John Episcopal Church,
Wisconsin Rapids, or Episcopal Church of the Intercession, Stevens Point.

Higgins Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assistedwith
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online atwww.HonorOne.com.

Mrs. Bushman was born April 11, 1925, in Biron in Wood
County, a daughter of the late William and Florence Rasmussen. She was a 1943
graduate of Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.

She was married to Milton “Whitey” Bushman Aug. 3, 1946,at
St. John Episcopal Church in Wisconsin Rapids. He died June 9, 2002.

In the early years of marriage, she and her husband owned
and operated Gleue’s Shoe Store in Wisconsin Rapids.

She went on to work as a sales associate at various women’s
clothing boutiques, including Seiferts and the United Shop in Stevens Point,
and Sophisticated Lady in Wisconsin Rapids.

After retirement, she served in the Grandparent Program at
Plover-Whiting Elementary School.

Survivors include four children, Gary (Deborah) Bushman and
William (Susan) Bushman, both of Stevens Point, Debra Jenson, Madison, and Kurt
Bushman, St.
Louis Park, Minn.; one sister, Jacqueline
(Robert) Gardner; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mello Dee
Bushman; and one sister, Marcine Smith.
