Melissa A. Olson, 46, Janesville, daughter of a Stevens
Point couple, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at University of Wisconsin Hospital
in Madison.


A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19,
at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Janesville, with the Rev. Janice
Diefenthaler officiating.


Visitation will be at Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory
in Janesville from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials may be made to the University of Wisconsin
Children’s Hospital.

Condolences may be offered online at www.schneiderfuneraldirectors.com.

Mrs. Olson was born Dec. 17, 1969, in Milwaukee,a daughter
of Dr. William J. and Sandra (Johnson) Sullivan.

She was married to Thomas Olson Oct. 21, 1995,in Plainfield.

She had been employed by Home Health United where she was a
grief counselor
coordinator.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in
Janesville.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas; two children, Abigail
and Alexis Olson, both of Janesville; her parents, Dr. William and Sandra
Sullivan, Stevens Point; one sister, Maeghan (Chad) Johnson, Appleton; and her
maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Johnson, Minocqua.

She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents,
William and Marjorie Sullivan.
