Dozynki festival carries on Polish traditions

The 13th annual Dozynki Harvest Festival will, in part, celebrate a new generation of youth embracing their Polish heritage.
The two-day festival begins at noon Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Moose Family Center, 1025 Second St. N., Stevens Point. Saturday events will go through 8 p.m., then the festival begins again Sunday, starting with a polka Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1401 Clark St., Stevens Point, followed by a chicken dinner and events at the Moose Center.
