Help regrow the Boston School Forest, sponsor a tree
With the recent – and continuing – thinning at Stevens Point Area Public School District’s Boston School Forest, a tree sponsorship program is being offered to supplement and diversify the forest.
The program allows businesses, school families, students and community members the opportunity to sponsor a seedling – or more – of choice of 10 for $5 each to be planted on Earth Day in 2017. Tree orders through the program, “Planting a New Generation at Boston School Forest,” runs through Wednesday, Sept. 28.
