School Board approves planning contract
Stevens Point Area Public School District Board of Education approved a contract with Nexus Solutions to assist it in forming and potentially implementing a comprehensive plan for the district that could include future building, remodeling and maintenance projects.
The unanimous decision came Monday, Sept. 12, after administration brought forward an agreement that allows the district to see the company’s plan at no cost to the district before deciding whether to move forward with any options.
“At every step of this process, our board and administration will be looking at this and determining whether we want to move forward or not,” Board President Meg Erler said. “So as we do our strategic planning, we know what our needs are.
