Robert Riley, 68, Laona, father of a Stevens Point man, died
Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23,
at First Presbyterian Church in Laona.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until
the service.

Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society assisted with arrangements.

Mr. Riley was born June 24, 1948, a son of the late James
and Evelyn (Panke) Riley.

He served in the U.S. military during the Vietnam War.

He was married to Virginia Pruetz Dec. 16, 1972.

He was a member of Wabeno American Legion Post 44 and a
lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Riley; two sons,
Shannon (Tieoni) Riley, Stevens Point, and C.J. (Lisa) Riley, Eau Claire; one
daughter, Melissa (Todd) Palecek, Oshkosh; one brother, James “Mike” (Janet
Quinn) Riley, Conway, Ark.; two sisters, Fran (Bruce) Cameron, Cable, and Mary
Ellen (Guy) Hoffman, Fifield; and eight grandchildren.
