Theresa Emily Cisewski, 96, Stevens Point, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the service. A parish rosary was scheduled to be prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cisewski was born June 25, 1920, in the town of Franzen
in Marathon County, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Goskowicz) Stroik.

She was married to Eugene Cisewski Nov. 11, 1939, at St.
Joseph Church in Galloway. They were married for 68 years before his death
Sept. 17, 2007.

She and her husband were longtime members of St. Joseph
Parish in Stevens Point.

Survivors include four children, Ken (Bonnie) Cisewski,
Northport, Fla., Lynette (Gene) Breault, Maplewood, Minn., Nadine (Tom)
Slowinski, Oconomowoc, and Debra (Charles) Stanke, Eau Claire; two siblings,
Sylvester Stroik and Laura Wolashek; her caregiver, Monica Neuberger;12
grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, James “J.C.”
Cisewski; and five siblings, Verna Platta, Dominic Stroik, Frances Suchon,
Ernest Stroik and Regina Groshek.
