29th annual Festival of India to celebrate culture, empowerment

As they have been inspired by the Stevens Point area community, organizers of the Festival of India hope to educate and entertain with workshops, music, dinner and dance at the 29th annual event next month.
The festival will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH), 1201 North Point Drive, Stevens Point. The event is free to the public.
