Delayed Bancroft School repairs frustrate board members
Bancroft School was slated last spring to receive new windows, doors and a new dishwasher to increase energy efficiency, but as of earlier this week the materials had not been ordered.
Almond-Bancroft School Board members wanted to know why during their board meeting Monday, Sept. 19.
District Administrator Dan Boxx fumbled with an answer.
The School Board in April approved the roughly $15,000 in repairs for Bancroft School, saying staff, students and the district would benefit from the new installations regardless of the school’s future.
