Taste of Norway reveals country’s influence on Iola area

Nestled along the north branch of the Wolf River, the seventh annual Taste of Norway will give visitors a bit of flavor of Norwegian culture next month.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Iola Historical Society, 210 Depot St. and will feature pastry making and lost arts artisans demonstrate their crafts. The event is free and open to the public.
