Therese “Terri” V. Pfiffner

Therese V. “Terri” Pfiffner, 91, Plover, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016.

A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, Sept. 27, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Interment was in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation was at the church Tuesday.

Boston Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.bostonfuneralhome.net.

Mrs. Pfiffner was born March 15, 1925, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pliska) Rogoski. She attended the local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1944.

She was married to George A. Pfiffner June 23, 1951, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died Jan. 29, 2004, after 52 years of marriage.

She worked for Hardware Mutual (now Sentry Insurance) in the advertising department from 1944 to 1951. After marriage, she became a stay-at-home mother.

Later in life, she worked for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and helped with book rentals for students.

Survivors include one son, Paul (Sue) Pfiffner, Stevens Point; one daughter-in-law, Judie Pfiffner, Stevens Point; one sister, Leone Przybylski; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Pfiffner; five sisters; and one brother.
