Jacob “Black Jack” Lodzinski

Jacob “Black Jack” Lodzinski, 84, Stevens Point, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
A visitation will be at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Mill Creek from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. l.

Mr. Lodzinski was born March 28, 1932. He was the son of late John F. Lodzinski and Mary Wisniewski.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1955 during the Korean War as a 1st Class Radar man. He was stationed on the USS Perkins.
After the service, he returned to Wisconsin where he worked as a Railroad Conductor for the Soo Line Railroad for more than 20 years until his retirement.
Survivors include his four children, John (Kim) Lodzinski, Jacqueline Lodzinski, Jamie Lodzinski and Jane (Andre) Eley-Lodzinski; his former wife, Dorothy Lodzinski; all four of his sisters, Margie Culligan, Virginia Glazer, Jeanette Hurrish and Barbara Brooks; and six grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by brothers John Logan, Alvin Lodzinski, Cliff Lodzinski, Greg Lodzinski, David Lodzinski and Eddie Lodzinski.
