Carl “Bud” Brock

Carl “Bud” Brock, 87, Wisconsin Rapids, father of a Plover man, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at Arborwood Lodge Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Thomas Graves officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services.

Mr. Brock was born March 26, 1929, in West Allis, a son of the late Arthur and Florence (Goodrich) Brock.
He was married to Marilyn Giebel. The marriage ended in divorce.
He was a clerk for the Milwaukee Road Railroad for 22 years and a papermaker for Consolidated Papers Inc. for 22 years, retiring in 1991.
Survivors include four sons, Rod Brock, Plover, Lloyd Brock and Doug (Karyn) Brock, both Wisconsin Rapids, and Wes Brock, address unknown; three daughters, Marilyn (Don) Mitchell, Vesper, and Jan Walker and Karen (Steve) Barker, both of Wisconsin Rapids; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, Mike Walker.
