Fredrick H. Bachinski
Fredrick H. Bachinski, 84, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at his home while under the care of Ministry Hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun, with the Rev. Jeff Hennes officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday.

Mr. Bachinski was born March 30, 1932, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Harold and Julia Kitowski Yetter. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1950.
After high school, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a corporal from Jan. 12, 1951, until his honorable discharge Jan. 11, 1954, from Camp Lejeune, N.C. He also was in the Wisconsin National Guard from August 1947 until his enlistment in the Marine Corps.
After service, he worked for Consolidated Paper for 43 years until his retirement.
He was married to Delores Elizabeth Shilka Sept. 10, 1955, at St. Bartholomew Parish in Mill Creek. She died Jan. 21, 2015.
Survivors include four sons, Bruce Bachinski, Stevens Point, Jeffery (Kari) Bachinski, Milton, Russell (Lois) Bachinski, Rosholt, and Doug Bachinski, Plover; one son-in-law, Deejohn Dupee; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Dupee; and two great-grandchildren.
