Ethel Mollinger, 93, a former Stevens Point resident, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at Shalom Cares Nursing Home in Aurora, Colo.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Shalom Cares Nursing Home in Aurora, Colo.

Mrs. Mollinger was born Dec. 6, 1922, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Harry and Josephine (Wieruszewicz) Swosinski.

She was married to Henry Mollinger in May 1948. He preceded her in death.

Following his death, she relocated in 1974 to Stevens Point, where she was co-owner of Jay Dee’s Bar and Lanes. She was later employed by Holt’s Drug Store and Copps grocery.

Following a stroke in 2000, she relocated to Denver, Colo., to be close to her daughter and family.

Survivors include three children, Ronald (Vicki) Mollinger, Tampa, Fla., Scott Mollinger, Casa Grande, Ariz., and Noreene (Carlos) Nogueira, Denver, Colo.; one sister, Wyonne Lewitz, New Holstein; and one grandson, Alex Nogueira, Denver, Colo.

She was also preceded in death by one son, James; and one grandson, Ronald Jr.
