Jacob “Black Jack” Lodzinski

Jacob “Black Jack” Lodzinski, 84, Stevens Point, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. l, at St. Bartholomew Church in Mill Creek.

Mr. Lodzinski was born March 28, 1932, a son of late John F. Lodzinski and Mary Wisniewski.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1955 during the Korean War as a 1st class radar man. He was stationed on the USS Perkins.
After the service, he returned to Wisconsin where he worked as a railroad conductor for the Soo Line Railroad for more than 20 years until his retirement.
Survivors include four children, John (Kim) Lodzinski, Jacqueline Lodzinski, Jamie Lodzinski and Jane (Andre) Eley-Lodzinski; his former wife, Dorothy Lodzinski; four sisters, Margie Culligan, Virginia Glazer, Jeanette Hurrish and Barbara Brooks; and six grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers John Logan, Alvin Lodzinski, Cliff Lodzinski, Greg Lodzinski, David Lodzinski and Eddie Lodzinski.
