Frank Edward Stroik Jr., 78, Wisconsin Rapids, a Stevens Point native, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at Aspirus-Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Evangelical Free Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. David Kurek officiating. Entombment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids.

Visitation will be at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, and at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the services.

Mr. Stroik was born Aug. 30, 1938, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late Frank and Regina (Dudzik) Stroik Sr. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs
High School in Stevens Point as a member of the Class of 1957.

He was married to Marge Hollstrom June 14, 1958, at St.
Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. They celebrated 58 years of
marriage in June.

He worked at Vetter Manufacturing in Stevens Point, Haferman
Builders and retired from Georgia-Pacific after 33 years. He had been an active
softball player and later golfe,r and wintered in Florida.

Survivors include his wife, Marge; three children, Sherry
(Art) Gaetke, Wisconsin Rapids, Rhonda (Bob) Robers, Burlington, and Lisa
(Randy) Buss, Wisconsin Rapids; four siblings, Esther Petersen, Gary Stroik,
Don Stroik
and Geri Guzman; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and a special young man, Adam Miner.

He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Elmer,
Clarence and Alice.
