Clarence P. Staszak

Clarence P. Staszak, 89, Bevent, an owner of the former Staszak’s Bar in Bevent, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at Cloverleaf Terrace in Birnamwood, while under the care of Ministry Hospice.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent, with the Rev. Augustine Bentil officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from noon Thursday until the Mass.

Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home in Wittenberg assisted
with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.schmidtschulta.com.

Mr. Staszak was born Dec. 23, 1926, in Marathon County, a
son of the late Martin and Barbara Staszak.

He was married to Mary Charneski July 13, 1957, in Bevent.

He farmed in the town of Bevent in Marathon County for many
years. He worked a number of years at Unit Drop Forge in West Allis, the former
S&E Enterprises in Mosinee and Norlen Incorporated in Schofield.

He and his wife also owned and operated Staszak’s Bar in
Bevent for more than 47 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Staszak, Bevent; one son,
Terry (Kari) Staszak, Bevent; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Mark Staszak; one
daughter, Susan Sadogierski; two brothers, Wally and Daniel; and one sister,
Margaret.
