Leonard Maximilian Stanislawski, 82, Stevens Point, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Pisarski Funeral Homes and Crematory in Stevens Point and
Plover assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at
www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

Mr. Stanislawski was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Rosholt, a son
of the late John and Helen (Ksionsk) Stanislawski. He attended schools in
Rosholt and Marion, graduating from Rosholt High School in 1951.

He entered the U.S. Air Force Nov. 30, 1955, in Milwaukee.
He obtained the rank of airman first class and was honorably discharged Sept.
4, 1959, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. He received the Good
Conduct Medal.

He was married to Patricia Wroblewski April 20, 1963, at St.
Peter Catholic Church.

After the marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point.

He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Stevens Point,
retiring after 37 years of service.

He was a member of the Stevens Point Moose Lodge 1572, the
Monsignor McGinley Council 1170 of the Knights of Columbus in Stevens Point and
the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 30, and was a longtime member of the St.
Peter Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife, Pat, Stevens Point; one son,
Patrick (Bonnie) Stanislawski, Almond; one daughter, Lynn (Stephen) Kuklinski,
Plover; and four grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers and one
sister.
