Louise Schlice, 95, Stevens Point, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at the Portage County Healthcare Center.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be at Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

Shuda Funeral Services in Stevens Point and Plover assisted
with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.shudafuneral.net.

Mrs. Schlice was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Stevens Point, a
daughter of the late John and Theresa (Jacobowski) Frymark.

She was married to Donald J. Schlice. They were married more
than 50 years before his death in 1993.

She was a homemaker while her children were at home and then
worked for Clean Towel Service.

She did RSVP volunteer work, was a 50-year charter member of
the Eagles Auxiliary and served as president for many years. She was also a
member of the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Anne’s Society at St. Joseph
Church, and volunteered at the Red Cross Bloodmobile.

Survivors include one daughter Carolee (Eugene) Cote; three grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Paula
Anderson; and five sisters, Lorraine Sullivan, Bernadine Carley, Elinore
Sommers, Sophie Speltz and infant Catherine.
