Ann T. Lemke

Ann T. Lemke, 92, Milwaukee, a Portage County native, died
Friday, Oct. 7, 2016.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at St.
Mary’s Immaculate Conception Parish in Custer, with the Rev. Greg Michaud officiating.
Burial will be at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until
the service.
A Memorial Mass will also be held at her parish in Milwaukee.

Ms. Lemke was born June 2, 1924, a daughter to the late John
and Prakseda (Wierzba) Lemke. As a young girl, she lived in the area of Torun
on her family farm.
Later, she worked at Worzalla Publishing in Stevens Point.
She later moved to Milwaukee where she worked for Allan
Bradley for 32 years.
After retiring she remained active with prayer groups and social
clubs in Milwaukee.
Survivors include one sister, Regina “Reggie” Lemke,
Chicago, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Peter,
Frank, Roman and Henry Lemke; and four sisters, Agnes Maurer, Johanna “Jennie”
Klabon, Helen Gollonik and an infant sister, Theresa.
