Richard A. Rubeck
Richard A. Rubeck, 68, Stevens Point, formerly of Green Bay, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Guardian Angel Cemetery, with the Rev. Tom Lindner officiating.
Donations may be sent to American Legion Post 6 Military
Honor Guard.

Mr. Rubeck was born April 9, 1948, in Berwyn, Ill., a son of
the late Edward and Ruth (Manning) Rubeck.
He was a decorated veteran in the U.S. Navy and served as an
E6 engineer from May 1, 1970, until he was honorably discharged Nov. 28, 1974.
He worked in Green Bay as a field mechanic for more than 25
years and was given the nickname “Rubber Duck.”
Survivors include two children, Brad and Stacey Rubeck;
three brothers, Edward (Mary) Rubeck, Robert (Carol) Rubeck and Lawrence
(Patricia) Rubeck; two sisters, Judith Leary and Karen (Michael) O’Keefe; three grandchildren; and
many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Joan Rubeck.
