Jean L. Hintz
Jean L. Hintz, 87, Stevens Point, died Monday, Oct. 10,
2016.
A private family service will be held.

Mrs. Hintz was born March 22, 1929, in Milwaukee, a daughter
to the late Lester and Edythe (Lewis) Franz. She grew up in Milwaukee and
attended local schools.
She was married to Robert Hintz. They later separated.
She helped manage and operate a tavern in the Milwaukee area
for many years. She relocated to Cecil, Wis., before settling in the Stevens
Point area, where she worked as an orthopedic assistant until retiring.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Peter Probst Jr. and
Laura J. Probst; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Peter Probst Sr.;
and Michael Probst.
