Gladys Marie Johnson, 87, Stevens Point, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at Brookdale Senior Living Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel in Racine, with the Rev. Myron P. Deschaine officiating. Entombment will be at the West Lawn Memorial Park Crypt.

Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, and at the chapel at West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the services.

Memorials may be made in her name to Heartland Hospice or
Brookdale Living Center. Send donations to Shuda Funeral Chapel to be forwarded
to her memorial.

Condolences may be offered online at www.shudafuneral.com.

Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 24, 1929, in Breckinridge, Minn.,
a daughter to the late William and Tillie (Dess) Mann. She attended local
schools in Breckinridge.

She was married to John W. Johnson Oct. 3, 1949, in
Alexandria, Minn. The couple celebrated 52 years of marriage together. He
preceded her in death.

The couple moved to Racine where she worked at Western
Publishing Company until she retired.

She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Racine for 50
years and also an Altar Society member and Communion server.

Survivors include two children, Janet (Ron) Blaha, Stevens
Point, and Kathy (Jim) Nelson, Presque Isle, Pa.; one sister Irene Johnson; one
sister-in-law, Violet Eddy; four grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 10 siblings, Bud, Marion,
Dorothy, Mae, Margaret, Eleanor, Harold, Kenneth, Lucille and Arnold; and one
great-grandson.
