Janet L. Laskowski, 64, Stevens Point, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at her cottage.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass, was a rosary prayed at 10 a.m.

A memorial in her name will be established later.

Mrs. Laskowski was born Oct. 31, 1951, in the town of Hull,
a daughter of the late Chester and J. Margaret Buza. She attended Madison
Elementary and graduated from Maria High School.

She also attended Mid-State Technical College where she earned
two associate degrees.

She was employed at Bank One, then by Portage County in the
County-City Building and later worked as a business manager for 27 years at
Portage County Health Care Center.

She was married to John H. Laskowski Jr. in 1971.

She was a caregiver for her mother and father for many years
until their deaths.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, John; one son,
Chad; one sister, Rosemarie Furo; and many nieces and nephews.
