To the Editor-

It seems that the RSLC (Republican State Leadership Committee) is back at it, sending out blatant lies or at the very least incomplete and deceitful information, about our State Senator Julie Lassa.

Anyone who knows Julie or has cared to follow the work she has done in our state for education, working families, seniors, and reestablishing local control, to name a few, knows that she works for the people of Central Wisconsin and that the nasty negative mailings are dark money, trying to do its best to further its agenda to control our state with Right Winged Tea Party Rule that is on its way to destroying so many things Wisconsinites used to take pride in.

Here are a few things you may not know about the RSLC. Even though they make it sound like they a state PAC, they are nationwide, Washington, D.C. based, butting into local races in many states where they are not welcome.

They have supported and influenced the shameful redistricting in our state as well as others all around the country.

They attack Democratic candidates with fabrications of the truth and unethical tactics. Their donors include pharmaceutical companies, tobacco companies, Walmart and of course the Koch Brothers. Local Republicans, especially Julie’s opponent, should demand they stop trying to influence our local elections.

Send a message to the RSLC that they cannot come into our state to influence our elections. Give Senator Julie Lassa all the support that you have in the past and more.
