Parents of Johanna Renae Roberts and Peter James Kiefer, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., wish to announce the wedding and congratulate the couple on their one-year anniversary.

Johanna’s parents are Andy and Kathy Roberts, Burnsville, Minn. Peter’s parents are Tom and Ann Kiefer, Stevens Point.

The couple was married Oct. 16, 2015, at Florian Gardens, Eau Claire, with Ryan Groshek officiating.

The maid of honor was Becky Krynski, and the bridesmaids were Anya Roberts, Alex Biehn, Katie Bohn, Hannah Hintz and Regina Troia.

The best man was Sean McKelvey, and the groomsmen were Luke Roberts, Ryan Hanstad, Skyler Clow, Jason Hinz and Shane Klackner.

Ushers were Brianna Kiefer and Mike Arnold. Tori Smith was the wedding musician.

Johanna is a 2010 Apple Valley Minnesota High School graduate, and she earned a nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC) in 2014. She currently works at St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs.

Peter is a 2010 Stevens Point Area Senior High School graduate and earned degrees in math and physics from UWEC in 2014. He works at Eagle Lake Camps at Glen Eyrie in Colorado Springs.

The couple honeymooned at Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
