Lawrence Peter Zeleski, 84, Plover, died Monday, Oct. 17,
2016, at ThedaCare Hospital in Appleton.


Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct.
22, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Plover.
Burial with full military rites will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens
Point.


Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Saturday
until the services.


Contributions in his name to St. Bronislava Catholic Church
would be appreciated.

Mr. Zelewski was born Oct. 27, 1931, in Oconto, a son of the
late Clements and Genevieve (Kotekci) Zeleski. He attended Stevens Point schools
and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1948.


He entered the U.S. Army Nov. 13, 1952, in Milwaukee. He
served as a private first class with the 8th Army, Company B. He received the
Korean Service Ribbon with 1 Bronze Service Star, the United Nations Service
Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged Oct.
26, 1954, at Fort Sheridan, Ill.


He was married to Joan Freeman. The couple was married for
17 years and later divorced.


He was married to Sharon Millenbah Aug. 1, 1991, in Stevens
Point.


The couple later settled in Plover.


He worked for Pre-Way Inc. in Wisconsin Rapids for many
years, retiring in 1988.


Survivors include his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Rhonda
Friday, Glendale, and Paula Gainer, Colorado; four grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.


He was also preceded in death by two sisters and five
brothers.
