On November 8th Portage County will be electing a new treasurer. Tom Mallison is the best choice for this position for a number of reasons.

Tom’s experience on the City Council and County Board gives him an understanding of local government that his opponent does not have. Tom has served on numerous committees within local government that directly relate to the position of treasurer.

I have worked with Tom on many issues, some that we haven’t seen eye to eye on. Tom has always been able to explain his stance on the issues with knowledge, respect and a transparency that made sense without being stand offish or condescending. He has always been able to communicate difficult issues in an easy to understand way.

Tom’s many endorsements speak of the trust that he has built over his years of service with the leaders of Portage County. This trust will enable him to step into the Office of Treasurer and start working for us on day one.

I encourage you to vote for Tom Mallison for Portage County Treasurer on November 8th.
