Knights of Columbus, Council 1170, is hosting its monthly breakfast fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 30.

The breakfast will be served from 8:15 AM until 11:00 AM at the KC Clubhouse, 401 W. Clark St., just across the Clark St. bridge. A special bake sale will be held in conjunction with the breakfast. Proceeds from the bake sale will support the group’s Christmas food basket program.

A new chair lift access has been added to the dining room for those who have trouble taking stairs.

The breakfast features a menu of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage/ham, the clubhouse’s famous home fried red potatoes, desserts and refreshments. Cost is only $6.50 for adults and $4 for children 6-12.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to support the operations of Council 1170 and various community activities, including support of the local schools Exceptional Needs programs and Special Olympics, youth activities like the PPK, Basketball Free Throw and Soccer Challenge program, support for the “Coats for Children” project and the annual holiday food baskets and other food pantry programs.
