LETTER: Vote for Holbrook in 70th Assemble District

To the Editor-
The world is ruled by those who show up — vote.
To those persons in the 70th Assembly District, you have the privilege this Nov. 8 to vote for Mark Holbrook. Mark has impeccable credentials. He has spent his adulthood in public service beginning with his service to the country in the Vietnam War. He continues his dedication to veterans today by transporting them to appointments.
In civilian life, Mark continued his public service by becoming a public school teacher, school psychologist and he retired as a high school principal. Mark’s dedication to the youth, future citizens of Wisconsin, well qualify him to represent the 70th Assembly in Madison.
Mark lives here. He recognizes the challenges that face residents of Wisconsin, and the 70th Assembly specifically. Mark has pledged to work in the Assembly to restore funding to public schools and make voucher schools accountable for their public funding.
In Mark’s own words, “How can we build communities that people want to live in, that will encourage business to move to if we don’t have the intellectual infrastructure necessary to develop our children’s intellectual gifts and talent? How can we cede to other states the growth in business that comes from having an educated and talented workforce?”
A vote for Mark Holbrook on Nov. 8 will begin the process to restore a bipartisan government in Wisconsin and create an environment where all citizens are represented equally.
