LETTER: Supervisor Supports Mallison for Treasurer
To the Editor-
I am endorsing Tom Mallison for Portage County Treasurer. He has shown the leadership qualities and possesses the education and knowledge to be the treasurer.
Mallison has been all over this county listening and talking to citizens about the issues facing the treasurer’s department. In my district alone I have seen Mallison knocking doors, participating in the Tater Toot Parade, and having lunch at one of the American Legion events.
On the other hand, I have not seen his opponent putting in any effort towards the position. I have read his open letter criticizing Mallison for running an active campaign and having numerous endorsements from elected officials.
This is underhanded campaigning and laziness on [opponent Jeff] Presley’s part; shame on him for not going out and listening to the very people he wants to vote for him.
Join me in voting for Tom Mallison on Nov 8.
