Roman Zblewski, 87, Birnamwood, an Amherst native and brother
of a Stevens Point woman, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Cloverleaf Terrace in
Birnamwood while under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday,
Oct. 28, at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hatley, with the Rev. Gregory Bohren
officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.


Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until
the Mass.


Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home in Wittenberg assisted
with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.schmidtschulta.com.


Mr. Zblewski was born May 5, 1929, in Amherst, a son of the
late Roman and Martha (Maeger) Zblewski.


He was married to Dolores Kurszewski Oct. 13, 1952, at St.
Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent.


He was a self-employed farmer in the Hatley area for many
years.


Survivors include his wife, Dolores, Birnamwood; four children,
Daryl (Patti) Zblewski, Eland, Cheryl (Jon) Giguere, West De Pere, Keith
(Darci) Zblewski, Rochester, Minn., and Dean (Kathy) Zblewski, Hatley; one daughter-in-law,
Janice Zblewski, Gurnee, Ill.; one sister, Elsie Hytry, Stevens Point; 13
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.


He was also preceded in death by one son, Mark; four sisters,
Regina Sroda, Sallie Baron, Sophie Ebel and Mae Peplinski; and seven brothers,
Ambrose, Jerome, Ernest, Ben, Dominic, Valfred and Clarence Zblewski.
