Gail M. Rosenau, 80, Plover, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at
Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Plover.


Visitation will be held at the Plover – Shuda Funeral Home
in Plover from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.


Committal services will be held after the visitation at the
St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery, with the Rev. Edward Shuttleworth officiating.


A memorial will be established in her name for Boston School
Forest.

Mrs. Rosenau was born March 9, 1936, in Manistique, Mich., a
daughter of the late John and Marie (Garvin) Dugas. She grew up in Iron
Mountain, Mich., where she graduated from Iron Mountain High School.


She was married to John Rosenau Sept. 5, 1959. He died May
30, 2016.


The couple moved to Petoskey, Mich., and later to Antigo
before moving to Plover in 1966.


She worked in Stevens Point for the school system as a
teacher’s aide at McKinley Elementary School and retired as a librarian’s aide
for McDill Elementary School in 1989.


After retiring, she and her husband spent winters in Florida
for many years.


Survivors include three children, Todd (Sharon) Rosenau,
Springfield, Va., Joel Rosenau, Plover, and Kelly (Neal) Schuh, Plover; one brother,
Norbert Dugas, Oregon House, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Dugas Jr.
and Elliott Dugas.
