Golden Sands Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc. is seeking the best summertime photos from 2016.

Submissions can feature outdoor beauty, scenic views and summertime fun. Photos must be from summer of 2016 and taken within the 12-county area the RC&D serves.

Photos can be emailed to [email protected] with the subject line “GSRCD photo contest”. Select photos will be featured on the group’s Facebook page and in Golden Sands RC&D promotional materials.

The winning photo will receive a nature lover’s gift basket, including an autographed copy of Aquatic Plants of the Upper Midwest by Paul Skawinski.

The contest deadline is November 15, 2016.

Golden Sands Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council, Inc. was established in 1972. The group works to support the improvement of Central Wisconsin’s economy in ways that conserve its natural resources at the same time. The nonprofit serves Adams, Green Lake, Juneau, Marathon, Marquette, Monroe, Outagamie, Portage, Taylor, Waupaca, Waushara and Wood counties.
