Sophomore Adam Rzentkowski finished fourth overall to lead
the Rosholt High
School boys cross country team to a seventh-place
finish at the WIAA Division 3 State Meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin
Rapids Saturday, Oct. 29.

In their seventh trip to state in the last eight years, the
10th-ranked Hornets totaled 195 points, while Darlington
had 68 points to win its sixth consecutive State Title over La Crosse Aquinas
(85).

“It felt really good, just to get a good position at the
start, and just come through and give whatever I had until the end,” said
Rzentkowski. “I didn’t want to leave any regrets behind, and I just wanted to
finish strong.”
