The two, along with Stevens Point Police Det. Tony Zblewski (off camera), were in their dress uniforms on Friday — part of a request from the Rusk Co. Sheriff’s Office for officers across the state to assist with the color guard and other ceremonial duties honoring a fallen officer there.
Deputy Sheriff Dan Glaze Jr. was fatally shot in the line of duty on Oct. 29 while investigating a suspicious car near Ladysmith. His funeral was held in Cameron, Wis. on Friday.
Plover Police Lt. Ryan Fox, along with Plover Police Officer Brent Thauer, also attended the service.
