Carol Hintz

Carol Hintz, 79, Whiting, died early Sunday, Nov. 6, morning at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in the presence of family after a short battle with cancer.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church 3200 Plover Road, Plover, with the Rev. Edward Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Memorials in Carol’s name will be established at a later date.

She was the daughter of the late Lucille (O’Shasky) and Marvin Konkel.

She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.

She married Chester J. Hintz Aug. 17, 1957. Together they had six children.

She enjoyed time with her family, playing cards, gardening, fishing, shopping and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include her children, Kathy (Bill) Drengler, Wausau, Chuck Hintz, Whiting, Cheryl (Don) Wild, Weston, Dennis (Jill) Hintz, St. Ignatius, Montana, Nancy (Tom) Holgate, Parkland Fl, Kelly (Greg) Radke, Waukee, I.A.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Konkel.
