Carol Hintz, 79

Carol Hintz, 79, of Whiting, died early Sunday morning at St. Michael’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Lucille Konkel (O’Shasky).

She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School and on August 17, 1957, she married the love of her life, Chester J. Hintz. Together they had six children; Kathy (Bill) Drengler, Wausau, Chuck Hintz, Whiting, Cheryl (Don) Wild, Weston, Dennis (Jill) Hintz, St. Ignatius, Montana, Nancy (Tom) Holgate, Parkland Fl, Kelly (Greg) Radke, Waukee, IA, 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

She enjoyed time with her family, playing cards, gardening, fishing, shopping and spending time outdoors. She was a strong, selfless woman, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ralph Konkel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday November 10, 2016, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, 3200 Plover Road, Plover. Rev. Edward Shuttleworth will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Carol’s name will be established at a later date. Pisarski Community Funeral Home of Plover is honored to be serving the family. For online condolences please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
