Bernice Karpinski, 88, Rosholt, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt, with the Rev. Jeffrey Hennes officiating.
Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, with the St. Adalbert Ladies Rosary Society leading a rosary at 7 p.m., and at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.

Mrs. Karpinski was born Sept. 27, 1928, in the town of New
Hope, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Koziczkowski) Ksioszk. She
attended Malloy and Sacred Heart schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High
She worked at Hardware Mutual Insurance Co. (now Sentry
Insurance) in Stevens Point.
She was married to Clarence Karpinski Oct. 18, 1947, at
Sacred Heart Church in Polonia.
The couple moved to Milwaukee in 1949, and she worked at AC
Spark Plug Co. They returned to the area and have lived at their present
address since 1953, where she did secretarial work for her husband in his
automotive repair business.
She was a longtime member of the St. Adalbert Ladies Rosary
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Clarence; one
son, Richard, Hubertus; one daughter, Rene’ (Ken) Kaminski, Rosholt; two
sisters, Terry Enquist, Jackson, Mo., and Joann Bronk, Rosholt; two brothers,
Joseph, Arbor Vitae, Vince, Greenfield; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Randy; one infant
daughter; three brothers; and five sisters.
